Contest – Best Excuse for the One that Got Away! Tell us how.
Did you miss that big buck this year? Or maybe it was a turkey, elk, or bear. We want to hear your story about why he got away, and how the RIPShot might have helped.
Maybe the sun got in your eyes, you couldn't stay pulled back long enough, you got buck fever, or you couldn't make that last minute call to stop him. Check out this video for an example.
We will accept your submission in written, video, or graphics format, so be creative!

Paul and his RIPshot are on fire this year!
After winning the Canadian Indoor 3D Nationals earlier this year, Paul Amenta went on to win the Frasier Valley Triple Crown (Outdoor 3D) in Western Canada. Paul of course was shooting with his RIPshot.
Not only did Paul win his class--Bowhunter--but he had the overall high score in all three events, including open class.
According to Paul's statement after winning the Indoor 3D Nationals - he attributes his consistency and success to use of the RIPshot!
Good Job Paul!
"Dear Nat,
...Shooting a release aid without a sight turned out to be a challenge, but with the Ripshot it seemed to come easier than expected. Although we wasn't able to go as much as we would've liked, our time at the water was a great success. I harvested a new Illinois state record bowfin and a state record spotted gar. I could've had a few more records, but figured two in one summer was enough. No sense in being greedy. Am really looking forward to attaching a sight to the bow and putting some venison in the freezer with the Ripshot. I would like to thank you for allowing me to try out this shooting marvel..."

Using RIPshot!
"Dear Nat,
Thank you so much for making such a truly amazing product. I used to be a very competative 3-D shooter winning three Canadian national titles as well as several provincial titles. That's not why I'm writing you. For the last two years I haven't competed just due to changes in work and family. This year I decided to come back and start shooting 3-D again. I'm also a certified level II archery coach and was very intrigued when I first saw your product. I thought the idea of the ripshot was sound and went along with what I've been teaching shooterst for years.
The benefits I've found from using the Ripshot are numerous. It forces you to use the correct muscles to draw the bow. It steadies your sight picture. It eliminates all stress and muscle use in the release hand, wrist, forearm, muscles, tendons, and all the stabilizer muscles used in the drawing process of shooting the bow. Honestly speaking, your Ripshot has me shooting as well or better than I ever have and I really haven't spent any time training. Since receiving your Ripshot I've set it up with my Tru Ball HT3 backtension release. This is just a simple hook, shot with a D-Loop. WOW!!! I'm so excited about this combination I can't thank you enough. I recently travelled to Red Deer, Alberta, Canada for the 2010 FCA 3-D National Indoor Championships where I was able to take a Gold Medal in the hunter class. I firmly believe that I never would have been able to do this without my Ripshot!"
